PAF Licence Options
When ordering Royal Mail's Postcode Address File (PAF) you can choose to have a single postcode area or the full UK file delivered to you as a download link. Please note that strict terms & conditions will apply and the prices charged are per annum. Why Purchase from List-Logic? We are a licensed value added reseller and as such have restructured the RAW data to make it much easier for you to use. Unlike the Royal Mail's direct purchase option, we DON'T charge £400 for delivering the file and the file is instantly available online to you if purchased with a credit card.
Which Licence Option Applies to You?
(1) Single User Licence: which means an individual work station or terminal or hand-held or otherwise portable device internal to a single legal entity. Data may not be used or made available to any other work station, terminal or pc. £50 for a file containing every UK address within a single Postcode Area or £300 for the full UK File. Updates are provided free of charge.
(2) Partial File, Single User Licence: rather than licence the entire PAF file. It is possible to licence just a few key fields from the file; The partial file essentially covers the full UK but to street level, in other words building names and numbers are not shown on the file although street, town and postcode are. 16 fields are missing from this reduced file. £80 for a file containing every partial UK address in the UK. Updates are provided free of charge.
(3) Multi User Block Licence: means up to 300 Users working for or controlled by an organisation / legal entity. "User" means an individual work station or terminal or hand-held or otherwise portable device internal to a legal entity. £100 for a file containing every UK address within a single Postcode Area or £8,300 for the full UK File. Updates are provided free of charge.
(4) Internet Transaction Licence: a solution whereby the licence holder operates a publicly available website (or a technical equivalent) which offers products and services to its customers and which can capture, verify, update or amend an address or postcode entered by its customers. A single postcode area file is not a licence option offered by Royal Mail - users must subscribe to the full UK licence for £6,700 per annum. Updates are provided free of charge.
(5) Partial Internet Transaction Licence: Partial PAF file which limits to content provided on the file you receive to just delivery addresses. The file still contains every address in the UK but eliminates surplus fields such as organisation name and building name. Building number, street, town and postcode are provided as normal. As a result this partial file can be used on the Internet for £3,400 per annum. Please contact us for purchase options.
